Meet Holly

Holly Holden is an ASID Allied Member, designing traditional interiors for over thirty-five years.  Her interior design firm, Holly Holden & Company, Ltd. has served clients in the United States and internationally. She ia elated to have her own classic fashion line of dresses, the “Holly Holden Collection”’ in collaboration with Gramercy Atelier in NYC. 

She is the Executive Producer and the host of her PBS television series, You Are Cordially Invited, and received an Emmy nomination for the episode at Highclere Castle, aka Downton Abbey, sponsored by Viking Cruises.  

Holly’s Instagram (HollyholdenDesign) has an active following over 100K and her weekly newsletter, Secrets to Lovely Living has an engaged, international subscriber list. 

Her first interior design book, The Pretty and Proper Living Room, is now in its second printing. Her second book, Pearls of Palm Beach, is a secret peek into 8 classically designed homes and made the #1 List in Palm Beach!

The Rizzoli book, The Great Houses of New England in 2008, featured her home, Fox Hall, c.1803.  Her work has been presented in national magazines and showhouses.

Holly’s home, Fox Hall, c. 1803, is a National Trust property in Farmington, Connecticut. The gardens were documented for the Smithsonian Archives at American Gardens. Her main residence is on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida 

Holly is an ambassador to the Palm Beach Salvation Army and served as the Chair of their centennial gala.  A Trustee of the New Britain Museum of American Art, a former Board member of Hill Stead Museum, a member of two federated Garden Clubs of America, and is the former Chair of the Historic District Commission. She and her husband, Stuart are members of the Metropolitan Club in NYC and the Beach Club in Palm Beach. They have three children and eight grandchildren, along with a revolving door for entertaining. 

Always in pearls, Holly plays polo, pilots a helicopter, and her favorite color is pink.
